An Introduction to Medicinal Mushrooms In-Person
This talk will discuss the reasons why mushrooms are medicinal, the historical use of Medicinal Mushrooms and finally touch on Medicinal Mushrooms found in your neighborhood. Martin Osis is one of Alberta’s leading Mushroom Educators and is often called to do talks on a variety of Fungal topics. With a background in Traditional Chinese Medicine, he has a special interest in Medicinal Mushrooms and spearheaded the formation of the Medicinal Mushroom committee at the North American Mycological Association.
