Who Built Alberta? A Capsule History of Alberta’s Working Class Online
This is a ZOOM presentation run in partnership with Strathcona County Library. Participants will receive a link to the ZOOM program through an email prior to the event.
Enjoy an overview of Alberta’s working class history by Dr. Alvin Finkel, president of the Alberta Labour History Institute. The talk includes the history of strikes and hunger marches 1919-1995, how they shaped this province’s development and compare with today’s state of affairs.
